Global climate change and environmental crises, in addition to a worldwide pandemic, have made all of us more cautious about our health and impacted our lifestyle. However, the infrastructure around us remains the same. The evolution of infrastructure has always been inspired and influenced by young minds. Every time an infrastructure challenge surfaces, innovations appear and overcome them. We want to see your innovations.
In stage one we ask you to develop a concept or an idea (individually or in a team of 2) of how YOU can change the world with infrastructure. The top 20 teams will win USD 500 each! If you make it to the top 10 teams, you will move on to stage two, where you will get an exclusive opportunity to attend masterclasses with Bentley experts to bring your ideas to life using Bentley applications.
We want you to think BIG here. Maybe it’s a hospital for COVID-19 patient overflow or an offshore wind farm to power a coastal city… whatever you can think of. If it can be built, create it!
If you submitted one of the top 10 ideas that advances to this stage, you will work with your educators, any subject matter expert, or professionals to build a design model based on your idea submitted in stage 1 using Bentley applications. Your project will be uploaded to the portal and competes for the public prize that is awarded to the project with the most public votes.
During the design and visualization phase, you will work on various elements of modeling, designing, scheduling, and visualization with guidance from you mentors, helping you bring your concepts to a stable design.
You will also be eligible to attend masterclasses hosted by Bentley subject matter experts. The masterclasses will be in the form of self- paced learning, so you can work on your design models and share them with your mentors for assistance and feedback, when required.
